Which dwarf frangipanis are suitable to grow in Brisbane?
The petite pink is the most popular dwarf. It’s a little more delicate than plumeria rubra varieties so it’s more suited to Queensland’s climate and more suited to gardening enthusiasts. George Brown and cherry Clusters are dwarf or semi dwarf rubra but I’m not sure how tall they grow to and what shape they grow into.
The petite pink is popular because of its foliage and bonsai-like shape. If you’re worried about your frangipani getting too big for its location, maybe cropping it every 4 or 5 years is a better option than a dwarf frangipani?
